Wedding Season

What does that even mean right? We all hear it. Spring is the perfect time for weddings to be planned and undoubtedly because the weather is usually just right. But it's more than just the weather. It's the flowers that are in season. The colors. The patterns. It's everything we don't think of as wedding guest. The details of Spring weddings that are different than other seasons. Even the themes tend to be more intricately chosen around the Bride's favorite flowers, colors, and patterns. Something about Spring in the air that releases love endorphins that give even the guest a feeling of love and makes for romantic scenery. Everyone loves a Spring wedding.

But why is Spring the best time for weddings? Besides the beautiful colors, flowers and patterns and the obvious best weather where it's not usually too cold or too hot, Spring is the perfect time for weddings for several reasons. A major one being that most people are home. Kids are still in school so unless you chose Spring Break, most people aren't leaving in and out of town for travels, therefore you more than likely have the best chance at all your family and friends being there. You also don't have any major holidays, outside Easter, to compete with where guest usually have guest over or are busy planning for guest arriving or meal planning for those major holidays such as Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Since lighting is everything, Spring also brings the best lighting. Spring usually delivers the perfect amount of sun and cloud coverage which gives you the best lighting for flawless photos. It also means you can mix colors a bit more which gives you not only beautiful backgrounds, but more creativity when it comes to the floral arrangements, table settings, even the colors your wedding party wears. You can't go wrong with all the pastel colors of the rainbow, the more colors the better.

There's no doubt why Spring was named Wedding Season. From the blossoming of cherry blossom trees to bluebonnet fields to the color palettes for makeup and all the details right down to your hairstyle and the fact that almost any wedding gown works: long sleeve, short sleeve, no sleeve, it all works.

Spring time though is the best not just for the Bride and Groom but for the wedding guest as well. It's easy to find wedding wear that's versatile with the weather of Spring. May dresses pair well with booties just the same as a strappy pair of heels. And, many look great with a jean jacket thrown over them as well as beautiful soft and silky shawl. As guest, your outfit choice is important as you don't want your friend or family's wedding photos to come out tacky because you wore a short tight neon green mini skirt meant for a Summer night out on the town. While you wouldn't wear white, guest can get away with champagne and off white colored dresses, neutral beige colors or even beautiful soft pastels but the best part is, even darker colors such as navy blue, reds, and darker purples work. You can't go wrong sticking with the classic looks as wedding guest. Some of the best color options are navy blue dresses with floral patterns that offer hints of soft colors. Even a white pair of sailor pants with a pastel blouse and flats pairs great with a Spring wedding or a pair of non-jean shorts with a cute flowy blouse and a pair of Sperry shoes or a cute pair of strappy sandals work.

Finding a wedding guest look that will sure to be impressive without taking from the Bride or looking tacky in photos doesn't even have to break the bank. Spring wedding clothes don't even have to be formal per say, a simple Spring dress worn with a cute pair of sandals works all the same.
