Because 'Merica.
This country isn't perfect. We have politicians playing us. We have corporations dividing us. A country split down the middle.
The thing is, it's not "black" and "white" or verses. I genuinely believe most people are good, caring, kind, and unbiased. Most are not racial folks. Most people will stand up for each other, will reach out a hand, celebrate with each other, and when push comes to shove, protect each other.
This 4th of July, let's stand together, celebrate this country, celebrate each other and with each other. Let's celebrate the good. Put the past behind us, at least for a weekend, and come together and watch the sky light up. Let's do our thing, Merica, and blow the sky up along with all the bad that's happened over the last several years.
